The company is set to invest a staggering 200 Cr. in establishing a new, massive food processing plant in Gujarat. This landmark investment, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state government under the “Vaibhav Gujarat” scheme, is hailed as a game-changer for the region. The new processing plant will double GreenFay’s potato processing capacity to 4.4 tonnes per hour, accompanied by an increased annual intake of 180,000 metric tonnes of potatoes. Critically, this expanded potato processing capacity is set to make GreenFay the biggest in India within this segment. Furthermore, the company aims to enhance its vital farmer partnerships, targeting an increase in its farmer base to 5,000.
