The Namsai Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) recently organised a ‘Field day’ for twenty farmwomen from Napatia village. This event, held on 28th February 2025, was centred around the on-farm testing (OFT) initiative aimed at showcasing the performance of improved potato varieties right in the heart of farmers’ fields.
The spotlight was on three improved potato varieties: Kufri Chandramukhi, Kufri Sindhuri, and Kufri Pukhraj. All three varieties have shown remarkable results in terms of yield and adaptability under real farming conditions.
